Scandium Fluoride Description

Scandium Fluoride, also known as Scandium Trifluoride, is a crystalline ionic compound. It is slightly soluble in water.

Scandium Fluoride is widely used as a chemical reagent. Scandium Fluoride is applied in optical coating, catalysts, electronic ceramics, and laser industry, and is also the main material for making Scandium metal and alloys. The main application of Scandium by weight is in Scandium-Aluminium alloys for minor aerospace industry components.
