Scandium Chloride Description
Scandium Chloride forms a natural crystalline aggregate. It is deliquescent and highly soluble in water.
Scandium Chloride Application
Scandium Chloride can be used in halide lamps, optical fibers, electronic ceramics, and lasers.
Scandium Chloride is applied in optical coating, catalyst, electronic ceramics, and laser industry, which are also excellent precursors for the production of ultra-high purity compounds, catalysts, and nanoscale materials. The main application of Scandium by weight is in Scandium-Aluminium alloys for minor aerospace industry components. Dentists use Erbium, Chromium: Yttrium-Scandium-Gallium Garnet (Er,Cr:YSGG) lasers for cavity preparation and in endodontics.
